We are very pleased to invite you to the second meeting of the Parent Support and Empowerment Group with a topic that you have requested: Communication Skills for Parents of Children with Congenital Heart Diseases.
Children are growing up and spreading their wings!
Can we understand them?
Can we accept them?
Can we see the true strengths of the human being we created?
Can we support their goals and dreams?
Can we protect them without transmitting our fears and anxieties to them?
Can we give them security without taking away the freedom they need?
Can we strengthen the relationship between us?
Can we be the parents they need without losing the relationship? Because if the relationship is lost, nothing matters!
In this experiential meeting we will learn how we can communicate with our children in a way that strengthens the relationship. .With skills from Effective Parenting Training and using techniques from Systemic Psychotherapy and the Theater of the Oppressed, parents will be able to see new ways of connecting with their children! The second part of our training will follow in June 2025
